Dr. Shannon Hendrickson
OWNER and CLINICAL DIRECTOR
Clinical Psychologist
I’m a licensed clinical psychologist dedicated to helping people grow, heal, and create meaningful change in their lives. I earned my Doctorate of Psychology in 2015 from the Arizona School of Professional Psychology and have worked across diverse clinical settings, including hospice care, forensic and correctional systems, juvenile justice, and group homes. These experiences shaped my understanding of resilience, trauma, and the powerful ways systems and relationships impact mental health.
I work especially well with women who feel overwhelmed by cultural expectations, relational pressures, perfectionism, burnout, and the invisible labor they often carry. Many of my clients are thoughtful, capable, and high-functioning - yet internally exhausted, self-critical, or questioning their worth. I have pursued specialized training in ADHD in women, including late diagnosis and how symptoms often present differently than traditional models suggest. As a woman who was diagnosed with ADHD later in life, I bring both professional expertise and lived experience to this work. I understand the shame, confusion, and self-doubt that can come from years of feeling “too much,” “not enough,” or simply different - and I am passionate about helping clients move toward clarity, self-acceptance, and sustainable functioning.
Additionally, as a PsyPACT-authorized psychologist, I am able to provide telehealth services to clients who are physically located in any participating PsyPACT state. This allows for greater flexibility and continuity of care for individuals who spend part of the year in Arizona (“snowbirds”), travel out of state for work, attend school in another state, or permanently relocate outside of Arizona. As long as you are located in a PsyPACT-participating state at the time of service, we can continue working together without interruption, helping you maintain consistency and momentum in your therapy regardless of where life takes you.

My approach is collaborative, evidence-based, and grounded in client-centered care. I believe you are the expert on your own life. My role is to provide a supportive, direct, and nonjudgmental space where we can explore patterns, process experiences, and build tools that align with your values and goals.
Outside of work, I enjoy gardening, camping, hiking, and spending time with friends, family, and my pets.
Self-pay rate: $200 per 50-minute session.
